An upper-intermediate course designed to help you incorporate English into your current professional life.
Course Summary
The goal of the Junior English courses is to help you envision your professional future through the possibilities that an international language like English can give you. This is the second tandem-like course in which our students from Latin America and the students of Español de Negocios at the University of Kent in the UK can practice their English and Spanish in professional situations.
Weekly Activities
This is a 4-week course and each week we have the following activities:
LIVE CLASSES
LIVE CLASSES
Monday
7:00pm CDT
We meet on Zoom to take the first class of the week. In this class, we explore the vocabulary and structures you will practice during the week. You'll also get a form with the materials and exercises for the class.
INDEPENDENT LESSONS
Tuesday
Self-paced
In this 15/20-minute lesson you will find a video, PDF materials and exercises to rehearse and increase your awareness of the topic that will be discussed in the tandem session that takes place the day after.
TANDEM SESSIONS
Wednesday
7:00am CDT or 3:00pm CDT
You can choose the session that best suits your schedule. These tandem sessions are designed for both: Business English and Español de Negocios. The group will practice half the class in each language.

Self-paced
This is a 15/20-minute lesson where you can go over a brief summary of the topics covered during the week, including the structures and vocabulary seen. You will also find tasks where you can put these into practice.

Un hermoso espacio para aprender
Durante el transcurso de este curso adquirí un gran aprendizaje en cada unas de las lecciones y actividades realizadas considero que este curso es muy valioso porque es un gran espacio para compartir conocimientos y de la misma manera aprender y obtener conocimientos pues se tiene la oportunidad de interactuar con personas de diferentes lugares como lo son los espacios de tarde y de New english voices los cuales han generado un gran impacto en mi aprendizaje al poder conocer otros tipos de culturas y acentos diferentes del idioma inglés en lo personal este curso me gusta muchísimo porque puedo sentirme segura de expresarme y de hablar el idioma sin temor alguna porque la miss yazzy es una excelente docente que nos impulsa a ir aprendiendo cada día y seguir avanzando por eso y muchas más razones yo recomiendo ampliamente este curso.

En mi opinión muy personal amo estas clases de inglés, son muy divertidas, agradables, muy retadoras y llenas de contenido muy útil, en este curso me avente a hablar mas en inglés, con mis miedos y temores pero lo puede lograr, voy poco a poco pero la miss Yazzy es muy alentadora y me anima a seguir, me ayuda a corregir y hacerlo mejor cada clase, se que aun me falta pero también se que e progresado desde mi primer día.
